Bentley BeeWalk

Enjoy a monthly walk around the area while recording sightings of bees!

Set up by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, BeeWalk is a long-term national recording scheme to monitor the abundance of bumblebees on fixed routes (transects) across the country.

We’ve registered with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to do a BeeWalk in Bentley on the second Friday of the month at 12:30pm. Starting at the Memorial Hall, the route takes us up Hole Lane to the church, then along the lanes to the fields to the east of the Recreation Ground. From there we join the footpath and continue east around the fields looping around to the main road and back to the village passed the pond. Ending at The Star, you might like to finish this 2.8km walk with refreshments!
